How to use the ZORB Cash privacy wallet

A step-by-step guide to using the ZORB Cash privacy wallet.
Getting Started
Step 1: Connect Your Wallet
Connect any Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, etc.) to the ZORB Cash app.
Step 2: Create Your Shielded Wallet
Click "Sign & Generate Wallet" to create your private wallet. Your regular Solana wallet signs a message to generate your shielded wallet keys.
Important: Download and save your seed phrase. This is the only way to recover your shielded wallet if you lose access.
Step 3: You're Ready
Once set up, you'll see four action buttons:

| Send | Send tokens privately or withdraw to any wallet |
| Shield | Deposit tokens into your private balance |
| Unshield | Withdraw tokens back to a public wallet |
How to Shield (Deposit)
Shielding moves tokens from your public Solana wallet into your private ZORB Cash balance.
- Click Shield
- Select the token you want to deposit (SOL, USDC, etc.)
- Enter the amount
- Review the fee and click Shield
After shielding, your tokens become private. No one can see your balance except you.
Fees: A small deposit fee is charged (shown before you confirm).
How to Send
The Send feature works with two types of addresses:
Sending to a Shielded Address (Private)
If you enter a shielded address (starts with szorb1...):
- The transfer is completely private
- No one can see the sender, recipient, or amount
- No fee for private transfers
Sending to a Solana Address (Public Withdrawal)
If you enter a regular Solana address:
- This works like an Unshield (withdrawal)
- The recipient and amount are visible on-chain
- A withdrawal fee applies
How to tell them apart:
- Shielded addresses start with
szorb1... - Solana addresses are shorter and start with letters/numbers
The app automatically detects which type you entered and shows you whether it's a private transfer or public withdrawal.
How to Unshield (Withdraw)
Unshielding moves tokens from your private balance back to any public Solana wallet.
- Click Unshield
- Select the token
- Enter the recipient's Solana address (or click "Use My Wallet" for yourself)
- Enter the amount
- Review the fee and click Unshield
Fees: A withdrawal fee is charged (shown before you confirm).
How to Receive
To receive private transfers from other ZORB Cash users:
- Click Receive
- Copy your shielded address or scan the QR code
- Share this address with the sender
Your shielded address looks like: szorb1abc123...xyz789
You can generate multiple addresses from the same wallet. They all go to the same balance.
Understanding Your Balance
Main Balance
Your total private token balance, shown prominently at the top of the wallet.
Token List
Below the main balance, you'll see a list of all tokens you hold privately, with individual balances for each.
Pending Rewards
If you see a "Claim" button next to a token, you have accumulated rewards. Click to add them to your spendable balance.
Wallet Sync
Your wallet needs to sync with the network to show your latest balance.
Sync Status:
- Syncing... - Wallet is updating (may take a few seconds)
- Synced - Balance is up to date
If your balance seems wrong, try a full resync from Settings.
Settings
Click the gear icon to access:

| Full Resync | Re-scan the blockchain for your notes |
| Disconnect | Log out of your shielded wallet |

Security Tips
- Backup your seed phrase - Without it, you cannot recover your wallet
- Never share your seed - Anyone with your seed can spend your tokens
- Verify addresses - Double-check recipient addresses before sending
- Use shielded addresses for privacy - Public withdrawals reveal the amount
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I recover my wallet on another device? Yes, use the "Recover from Seed Phrase" option when setting up.
Why is my balance showing 0 after setup? Your wallet needs to sync. Wait for sync to complete, or try a full resync from Settings.
What's the difference between Send and Unshield?
- Send to a shielded address (
szorb1...) = private transfer, no fee - Send to a Solana address = same as Unshield (public withdrawal with fee)
- Unshield = explicitly withdraw to a public address
Can someone see my shielded balance? No. Only you can see your balance using your wallet keys.
What happens if I send to the wrong address? Transactions cannot be reversed. Always verify addresses before sending.
How long do transactions take? Transactions confirm in about 10-30 seconds (proof generation + Solana confirmation).
